Pont du Gard/Tavel/Chateauneuf du Pape - Demi-journée - Provence Travel

“We weren’t surprised to discover we were the only 2 booked on the trip . We were surprised that our driver and guide was Japanese and didn’t speak English or indeed French very well . We enjoyed Pont du Gard but would have preferred to walk round on our own . It felt like our space was being crowded. The stop at the first Cave was disappointing . Poor quality Rose with no interaction with any experts . The visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape saved the trip . Two excellent caves with proper expert comment on the local red wine”
